3 Day Fast – Day 3 – Sept 20, 2018 – Leadership/Finances

God Bless You All!!

The outline for today’s fast (Day 3) will be as follows:

  • Praise & Worship

John 4:24 – Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth –  listen to your favorite worship songs. Pray as you listen. Lift up your hands as a sign of “victory” (Exodus 17:11 – As long as Moses held up his hands, Israel prevailed). If you need help with some praise and worship songs, check out this youtube video:

  • Go into a time of repentance of anything that has been separating you from God.

Psalm 51:4 “Against you, and you alone, have I sinned; I have done what is evil in your sight.

Matthew 4:17 “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

Acts 2:38 “..Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”.

  • Pray for Your Country, the Government, those in LeadershipPray for your country, your government, your president, your pastor and your boss. Pray for those in leadership over you.

Hebrews 13:7 – Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.

1 Timothy 3:2 – Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach.

2 Timothy 2:15 – Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Mark 10: 42-45 –  Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.  Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,  and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.  For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Ephesian 4: 11-16 –  And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,  for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,  till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;  that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—  from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Tutus 1: 7-11 –  Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless—not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.  He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it. For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households by teaching things they ought not to teach—and that for the sake of dishonest gain.

  • The Persecuted ChurchPray for God’s grace and protection over their lives and lives of their families that are being persecuted for the sake of the Gospel. That they will not turn away from God but draw closer to Him through their trials.

Hebrews 13:3 – Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.

Revelation 12:11 – And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Financial Stewardship and BlessingWe pray that God will help us to be good stewards over the money He has given us. As we give our 10% tithe, God will abundantly bless us, our family and enlarge our territory so that we can bless others. For those that are entrepreneurs, we pray that God will provide the finances we need to operate and the wisdom we need to run the business. W pray that we would not be greedy and make money a “god” when riches increase.

Malachi 3:10 – “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.”

Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”

1 Timothy 6:10 – “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

Psalm 62:10 – “Do not trust in oppression, Nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them.”
