Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

What is Spiritual Warfare? Taking a stand against the forces of evil (satan, demons) in the spiritual realm through the Word of God, Prayer, Fasting and Worship.

The biggest stronghold for me is the “Spirit of Doubt” and “Walking in Unforgiveness“.

In order to start this battle, you need the “Whole Armour of God”(Ephesians 6:11). Let’s go through each Armour:

  • Helmet of Salvation (Ephesians 6:17) –  The Word of God – Have you received salvation through Jesus Christ? If Not, Let’s Pray: Father God, I give my life over to you, I receive your Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Forgive me for my sins. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Teach me to how to walk in your way. Thank you for the gift of salvation. Amen.
  • Sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17) –  The Word of God – The Word of God is your sword against the enemy. Pray for the Holy Spirit to teach you, give you understanding and cover you with the Word of God as you read.
  • Breastplate of Righteousness (Ephesians 6:14) – Living a Holy Life (Ephesians 4:22-24) – Through salvation, the “old person”(unsaved) is gone and the “new person”in Christ is walking in holiness.
  • Waist of Truth (Ephesians 6: 14) – Speaking truth and honesty to ourselves and others
  • Shield of Faith (Ephesians 6: 16) – Quenches all the fiery darts of the enemy. The fiery darts are the spirit of doubt, depression, hate, anger, vengeance, arrogance, unforgiveness, evil speaking, lying, dishonesty, sexual sins, idolatry, etc.)
  • Feet of Preparation (Ephesians 6:15) – We are called to be the “hands and feet” to those who need salvation, spiritual deliverance and physical help. Use the gifts God has given you (Word of God, speaking in tongues, healing, prayer, deliverance, hospitality). **You can add Fasting to your preparation.
  • Prayer (Ephesians 6:18) – Pray for yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, strangers, those He placed on your heart). **You can add Fasting to your prayer.

Lifting up your hands in times of Spiritual Warfare is powerful!!

  • Exodus 17:11And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
  • 1 Timothy 2:8 – I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
  • Psalm 119:48 – My hands also I will lift up to Your commandments, Which I love,
And I will meditate on Your statutes.
  • Psalm 134:2 – Lift up your hands in the sanctuary,  And bless the Lord.

Get Ready for WAR!!

** YOU CAN ADD FASTING FOR MORE SPIRITUAL POWER!**

  1. Give Thanks

  2. Confess Your Sins Before God

  3. Praise Him with hands lifted up!

  4. Prayer – Call out scriptures or read them out loud!

  5. Ask for what you need with hands lifted up!

  6. If you have a prayer partner with you, the prayers are twice as powerful against the enemy!

  7. Mix Prayer and Praise with hands lifted up!

  8. Give thanks for what He has done and what He will do!

THE DEVIL IS DEFEATED! THE LORD IS VICTORIOUS!

      1. Well First by the looks of your page, I could learn somethings from you. I m very moved by your website. Secondly I would like to partner with you, sharing with each other as resources. For instance I have someone who is looking to build up a website and her gift is with metal health, and depression dealing with soul wounds. You may have someone that can share with that info. Like wise, I deal mostly on teaching, warfare, and devotional encouragement. I am currently trying to become a writer as well through ministry. I think we could help each other help our communities in a much better way- Daniel Byzewski
